Dispelling The Myths About Hypnosis- Part I

We've all seen the movies and TV shows where the hypnotist "makes" someone do crazy things! Some of you may have even seen stage hypnotist putting on a show where people act silly and crazy. The fact of the matter is none of us want to do anything that would be out of character for who we are. In stage hypnosis the hypnotist is performing suggestibility tests with the audience to find the most animated individuals that will make for the most entertaining show. The most animated individuals are the people that are already willing to do fun and crazy stuff in front of others. They're not acting outside there normal character.

​Often times someone's biggest fear with hypnosis is doing something they don't want to do. Something out of character for who they are or desire to be.

The reality is, a hypnotist Can Not make you do something that you don't want to do. In fact, if you come to me to make a change in your life that is simply a change that someone else wants you to make I will tell you not to waste your time & money. Successful hypnosis depends upon the joint commitment of the client and hypnotist working toward the common goal of the client's desired change. As a client you will need to follow through with self hypnosis to reinforce the desired change(s).

Self Hypnosis is very simple and easy. It takes only a few minutes in the morning and evening to reinforce the positive changes that you desire!
